I had the pleasure of seeing Wendy Ida speak in person. SHE is a WOMAN on FIRE! I had my photo taken with her and talked to her briefly, all the while I was blown away by her radiant youthful beauty. I stumbled on my sentences because I was so mesmerized by her energy, her story and her ageless appearance. If you ever have the opportunity to hear her speak, GO! She will rock your world!

For those of us “over 40” Wendy tackles the real changes that are happening to our bodies and explains how to hit back! I found myself having “ah-ha” moments while reading her book. I loved it! She understood what I was going through and was able to give me the necessary tools to make positive changes and OWN my life again. Wendy is motivating and gets straight to the point! “Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” In my heart I know that He chose you for this specific assignment. I am thankful that He connected Boomers Lifestyle Magazine to you. Our community needs to hear your story if they haven’t already.

Wendy is motivating and very inspirational! I can see that she walks her talk. What I love most however, is the fact that you can tell she really cares about you and your progress!. Her energy, her passion and drive lights a fire under my butt and makes me step it up to be better I am so blessed to have crossed her path!

Wendy Ida is the ultimate professional…and is extremely knowledgeable. She’s a great role model for both men and women. When she is training, it’s about the workout and the results.

Wendy Ida is a natural born gifted trainer! She always approaches her clients in a professional manner. She praises and compliments her clients for their progress and definitely knows how to motivate you! Wendy has been my trainer for six years now. She has challenged me to eat properly and in doing so, I have lost weight and feel 100% better!
Before training with Wendy, I had been on insulin for over 11 years. I am now off insulin! My physician is so proud of my progress. I salute Wendy Ida as the world’s greatest trainer and teacher!!!
I enjoy the hell out of Wendy, and I appreciate her training and working with my limitations.
-Dan Narikawa, Retired Engineer
I didn’t want you to think that I had fallen off a log into the middle of deep space without waving as I went by. What is important for me to tell you is that in our short time together you deeply touched my life – I am down about 7 pounds as a result of our workouts, eating differently and drinking a bit less. I recognize the direction for the future and for the first time feel liberated at the idea of going there…so thank you!
Excellent! The best trainer I have ever experienced!

…Wendy’s greatest gift is her uncanny ability to take even the most motivationally-challenged fitnophobe and transform him into a devoted life-long exercise enthusiast.
Thank you for your upbeatness and patience! It’s no exaggeration to say that you help to improve the quality of my life.
Wendy is naturally an effervescent person. This fact would serve her well in any endeavor, but especially as a Personal Trainer. Given the option of hiring a trainer who can design an exercise regimen versus a trainer who can design an exercise regimen and make you enjoy it, I would opt for the latter. Wendy is definitely a trainer who falls into this category. Without hesitation, I would recommend her to both men and women, young and old.
Worked Out By An Angel.” – That’s how I describe Wendy Ida to my friends.
For the last twenty years I have fought a battle with arthritis, lower back pain, bad knees and, most recently, I was in a car accident. After the accident I believed all I could do was manage the pain and atrophy of my muscles… and then I met my Angel.
Wendy showed me that I could, can and will get stronger. She rekindled the desire to have fun by working out intelligently and making progress in stages. The workouts are challenging enough that I feel successful every time. Her attitude is wonderful and she always has a smile and an encouraging word to say.
Most importantly, she made me feel like she cared about my progress and that my goal when I met her was too low and that I could do much more – and she was right!
Thank you Wendy
Wendy is an excellent model of what proper diet and exercise can do for you. It was very motivational working out with someone who practices a good work out ethic…Very encouraging.
I went to Google, typed in 56 yr old fitness and you popped up. I am 56, in TERRIBLE shape, used to teach aerobics, God how FAR I have FALLEN. Anyway, do you have videos for sale anywhere? TV show? Damn I cannot BELIEVE how fabulous you look!
I have been sharing this with my family members an other’s that could use the encouragement…..i am 5ft. 5 in. tall…an i weigh in at 195 give or take a lb or two….i would like to get down to at least 145…..so that means about 50lbs…..a friend told me that it wouldnt be good to get down to 140 or less….because as you get older ….you dont want to look like a teeny bopper…..lol…well i dont ….i just want to be at my best……im ex military…and welll i can do this….as long as i stay focused…..and surround myself with positive folk…..when i was in the military i weighed in at 135lbs….solid…with about 11% body fat…..not sure if i can do that again…but i do want to be healthy…the thing that caught my attention with you is the fact that you are not bulked up or look like a man…and you still have breasts…(please pardon my candor…..lol)….a lot of the females i see that work out….have none…and i dont want that to happen to me…i dont want to look like a man nor lose part of what naturally makes me a female…….smiling….i eventually plan on marrying again…an one man in the relationship is enough….smile….sooooo…thanks again for your time an inspiration!!!!
Congratulation on your victory I tell your win was really inspirational in so many ways. Keep doing your thing, she a brick houseeeeeeeeeee. LOL. Well anyway to get to the point i wanted to know did you have any fitness videos? Currently i am around 185. My desire weight is 165-160, a nice ass, and to lose some of the boobs, but it seem so hard to lose 25 pounds i really don’t get it, so i need your help. I am a college student writing you from upstate New York so i do not have the finance to have you personally train me, not yet anyway, I suppose when i make it to the big leagues, unless your feeling generation, yet I am praying you can give me some advice on what to eat and what not to eat and some workout routines as well. Pray all is well for you and yours, Hope to hear from you soon, Blessings!!!
You are absolutely inspirational. You do not look anything near 50. I read about your success on a women’s message board that I belong to. Your commitment to your health and physique are very inspirational and motivational. I am only 29, and I lift weights, but I want to look like you in 20 years. I know that it takes hard work and dedication and I am delighted to have read your story.
Hi Wendy, congrats on winning the fitness competition! You are one of my fitness inspirations. I showed your pictures to my husband and he’s usually good at guessing someone’s age. I asked him how old he thought you were and he said 40! Black don’t crack! You’re making women of all ages step their game up. Again congrats!
I read about you on Black News and you recent Body Building win. Congratulations!! I was wondering what kind of service you offer to people who live in other states? I am a 52 year old black female, weighing 228, at 5”5’. I have large thighs and a stomach carried over from 2 adult children. What can I do?
I am so delighted to hear about you on the Black News web site! I am So Proud of YOU! Thank you for your determination, and your consistency! You are such an inspiration to me, and I just heard about you! I will be following your career from now on! I am also 56 yrs old.
I saw your picture in a local paper here in Charleston, SC it talked about your recent win in the 2009 NPC bodybuilding championship. Congratulations on that wonderful and very impressive accomplishment. Saying I was impressed is so much of an understatement and when I read that you really didn’t get involved in working out until you were over the age of 40 just blew me away. I also read that your interest also is in helping women also 40 and above achieve their health fitness goals. That is my reason for writing I would like to hear more from you about how I could enhance my fitness level.
First let me congratulate you on a terrific body. Saw your article in one of our home papers. By the way I live in Charleston, South Carolina. I am impress with you because of your age. I myself would love to have a body that looks as half as good as yours, any suggestions? I am a 54 years old, 5″3 with 215 pounds of fat. Try all types of diet for the last tens of years, lose a little and gained a lot. Any advice or information would be helpful.

I believe that seeing this information at this time in my life is an answer to prayer. Have a wonderful and blessed day!
