“It’s made a world of difference for me!”
When I found Wendy I was not only overweight, but also recovering from a broken femur. I had very little muscle strength in my legs. Wendy put me on a nutrition and fitness program that gave me amazing results. I’ve lost 45 lbs and my leg went from having very little muscle strength to being able to handle the rigorous sport of skiing. My orthopedist told me it would take two full years to get all my muscle strength back. Working with Wendy has made a huge difference! I’m about 6 months ahead of schedule!

“Sharon Says A Mouth Full…”
“Wendy Ida came through for me – big time.”

Before

Week 17

After
I’ve always had coaches as I grew up playing sports. As I got older I couldn’t find the will power to be consistent with my fitness and nutrition routine. For years I thought there was no possible way to get my body where I wanted it to be without a ton of money to pay a PT to work with me several times a week. I even fantasized of how lovely it would be to have a personal assistant and chef to guard my diet.
Wendy Ida came through for me – big time. Once I got serious, she put together a remote training plan then motivated and held me accountable from 3000 miles away! Weekly, I found myself in awe as my body transformed, fat melted, muscles toned, co-workers gasped. I was being whistled at by adoring strangers again!
Who knew I could live in New York and be cared for so dearly by a Master Fitness trainer residing in California!?

Wendy Ida is the ultimate professional…and is extremely knowledgeable. She’s a great role model for both men and women. When she is training, it’s about the workout and the results.

Wendy Ida is a natural born gifted trainer! She always approaches her clients in a professional manner. She praises and compliments her clients for their progress and definitely knows how to motivate you! Wendy has been my trainer for six years now. She has challenged me to eat properly and in doing so, I have lost weight and feel 100% better!
Before training with Wendy, I had been on insulin for over 11 years. I am now off insulin! My physician is so proud of my progress. I salute Wendy Ida as the world’s greatest trainer and teacher!!!
-Ann Mosley
I enjoy the hell out of Wendy, and I appreciate her training and working with my limitations.
-Dan Narikawa, Retired Engineer
I didn’t want you to think that I had fallen off a log into the middle of deep space without waving as I went by. What is important for me to tell you is that in our short time together you deeply touched my life – I am down about 7 pounds as a result of our workouts, eating differently and drinking a bit less. I recognize the direction for the future and for the first time feel liberated at the idea of going there…so thank you!

Excellent! The best trainer I have ever experienced!
-Rickey Ivie, Attorney – Ivie, McNeill & Wyatt
…Wendy’s greatest gift is her uncanny ability to take even the most motivationally-challenged fitnophobe and transform him into a devoted life-long exercise enthusiast.
-Anthony Allegre
Thank you for your upbeatness and patience! It’s no exaggeration to say that you help to improve the quality of my life.
-Mayumi Kodani
Wendy is naturally an effervescent person. This fact would serve her well in any endeavor, but especially as a Personal Trainer. Given the option of hiring a trainer who can design an exercise regimen versus a trainer who can design an exercise regimen and make you enjoy it, I would opt for the latter. Wendy is definitely a trainer who falls into this category. Without hesitation, I would recommend her to both men and women, young and old.

Worked Out By An Angel.” – That’s how I describe Wendy Ida to my friends.
For the last twenty years I have fought a battle with arthritis, lower back pain, bad knees and, most recently, I was in a car accident. After the accident I believed all I could do was manage the pain and atrophy of my muscles… and then I met my Angel.
Wendy showed me that I could, can and will get stronger. She rekindled the desire to have fun by working out intelligently and making progress in stages. The workouts are challenging enough that I feel successful every time. Her attitude is wonderful and she always has a smile and an encouraging word to say.
Most importantly, she made me feel like she cared about my progress and that my goal when I met her was too low and that I could do much more – and she was right!
Thank you Wendy
-Vincent D.
Wendy is an excellent model of what proper diet and exercise can do for you. It was very motivational working out with someone who practices a good work out ethic…Very encouraging.

I have been sharing this with my family members an other’s that could use the encouragement…..i am 5ft. 5 in. tall…an i weigh in at 195 give or take a lb or two….i would like to get down to at least 145…..so that means about 50lbs…..a friend told me that it wouldnt be good to get down to 140 or less….because as you get older ….you dont want to look like a teeny bopper…..lol…well i dont ….i just want to be at my best……im ex military…and welll i can do this….as long as i stay focused…..and surround myself with positive folk…..when i was in the military i weighed in at 135lbs….solid…with about 11% body fat…..not sure if i can do that again…but i do want to be healthy…the thing that caught my attention with you is the fact that you are not bulked up or look like a man…and you still have breasts…(please pardon my candor…..lol)….a lot of the females i see that work out….have none…and i dont want that to happen to me…i dont want to look like a man nor lose part of what naturally makes me a female…….smiling….i eventually plan on marrying again…an one man in the relationship is enough….smile….sooooo…thanks again for your time an inspiration!!!!

Pray all is well for you and yours, Hope to hear from you soon, Blessings!!!

You are absolutely inspirational. You do not look anything near 50. I read about your success on a women’s message board that I belong to. Your commitment to your health and physique are very inspirational and motivational. I am only 29, and I lift weights, but I want to look like you in 20 years. I know that it takes hard work and dedication and I am delighted to have read your story.
-Nana
Hi Wendy, congrats on winning the fitness competition! You are one of my fitness inspirations. I showed your pictures to my husband and he’s usually good at guessing someone’s age. I asked him how old he thought you were and he said 40! Black don’t crack! You’re making women of all ages step their game up. Again congrats!
-Kassandra

I saw your picture in a local paper here in Charleston, SC it talked about your recent win in the 2009 NPC bodybuilding championship. Congratulations on that wonderful and very impressive accomplishment. Saying I was impressed is so much of an understatement and when I read that you really didn’t get involved in working out until you were over the age of 40 just blew me away. I also read that your interest also is in helping women also 40 and above achieve their health fitness goals. That is my reason for writing I would like to hear more from you about how I could enhance my fitness level.
-Mozell
First let me congratulate you on a terrific body. Saw your article in one of our home papers. By the way I live in Charleston, South Carolina. I am impress with you because of your age. I myself would love to have a body that looks as half as good as yours, any suggestions? I am a 54 years old, 5″3 with 215 pounds of fat. Try all types of diet for the last tens of years, lose a little and gained a lot. Any advice or information would be helpful.
